I’ve been using benzalcin and retin-a for about 10 months noww. It improved my skin at first. but now it seems like they’re starting not to work. I have more pimples now and my skin overall makes me want to scream until my throat goes raw. I’m going to the dermatologist soon and I was wondering if you think there’s something (creams, regimes, etc) that I should take and would help.

I’m not sure about using antibiotics. I’m trying to steer away from that as much as possible. but please tell if you had any success with antibiotics. and is it true it does clear up skin but comes back worse if you stop using them?

I use the face wash kind of stuff where you wash off after like a minute. but I do use a moisturizer and on the spot stuff.

yeah i’ve tried proactiv for about 8 months and it did help but my acne didnt go away and it was still pretty noticable and irritating.. :-\
