Acne Treatments

okay
i’ll admit, i have a huge acne problem
i use neutrogena oil free acne wash
and also the neutrogena moisturizer thing
when i look in the mirror in the morning, i look DISGUSTING
so i wash my face and then i put make up on
i use both foundation and cover up
but still you can see the acne
i’ve been doing everything i’m supposed to do to make acne stop, but nothing’s working for me
my mom refuses to buy products that reduces acne!
can anyone give me good advice of what i should do to make this go away? any home remedies? thank you

oh, and my mom, she’s like an asian freak, so she always talks about how the medicine dermotolgists prescribes makes you unhealthy and stuff and that i can get a disease from those medications hahah yeahh, crazy

Back when they didn’t have acne creams, they must have just washed their face with water, isn’t that good enough? Why don’t we just use water? This isn’t rhetorical I’m just wondering if washing your face with water is enough.

I’ve been using erythromycin the tablet and cream for a while now. Im starting to notice though it seems like the pills arn’t working very well anymore for my complexion. What would be a good alternative…are there any other medications that work really well for acne? I don’t want to use accutane though.
